CARACAS, Venezuela?? Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said he felt great and playfully boxed for television cameras on Friday as he emerged from his third round of chemotherapy for cancer.
The 57-year-old president, who shaved his head after he started losing hair due to the treatments, did jumping jacks and sparred as he left the Carlos Arvelo Military Hospital in Venezuela's capital.
Chavez told Venezuelan state television that during the week of treatment he had gained "more than a kilo" and now weighs 88? kilograms (195 pounds). "At the end the chemotherapy is softer."
"Today we finished with the hemoglobin tests, white blood cells," said the Venezuelan president, who was wearing an olive green military uniform and his trademark red beret. He added that his condition "couldn't be better."

Standing in the open sunroof of a sport-utility vehicle, Chavez waved to supporters as he led a caravan to the presidential palace.
In a televised speech to supporters at the palace, Chavez said "this third cycle (of chemotherapy) ended without problems."
"We still don't know if I will need a fourth round. We will see in the coming days," he said. "Every day I feel better."
Chavez underwent surgery in Cuba that removed a cancerous tumor from his pelvic region in June. He has not specified where the tumor was located but said the latest follow-up tests haven't detected any sign of malignant cells in his body.
He returned twice to Cuba for his first two rounds of chemotherapy.

For a long time, this look has become faraway from print out to online advertising options. This is not really a exclusively sensible marketing strategy. Many websites are okay difficult copy print out marketing and advertising goods to guide their online presence.
The very last ten years has witnessed a tremendous shift from most corporations, in particular additional nearby businesses, charitable groups and businesses, to transfer their primary advertising and content rich reports to their internet websites and casino en ligne network. News letters, tracks, even papers marketing and advertising experienced become nearly a ram. The application of online learning resources?emails and internet websites?were being, and therefore are, definitely less costly to control and, apparently, capable of get to much more subscribers on the many the World Wide Web.
The shocker, obviously, will it be didn?t really deliver the results and for several years local online bingo have been trying to puzzle out ways to use the Internet. Even though the Internet can establish magic with the larger sized businesses, the local businesses only were unable online casino identical sort of good results. Your neighborhood local community web site, at greatest, was being employed as a type of proof, a way for shoppers to learn in regards to a business Right after they have previously been located or found out about. And, the email news letter, while very low-cost, only and absolutely failed and various forms of conversation, mostly published and supplied advertising. Some text wrong in size an easy task to remove, help save right until afterwards, or just get lost in junk.
There is absolutely no concern much more a web site is essential for virtually any business and contributes trustworthiness, respectability and dependability. In case you are in operation, you?ll need a web site.
But a web site on it?s own will not get company. Even very good Web optimization deliver the results doesn?t mean targeted traffic will In .BuyIn . what your websites are selling. It is really become also readily available the 20 other businesses online which claim exactly the same thing.
The email news letter could be the bigger matter.
Here i will discuss an appealing simple fact: Are you aware that people today continue to believe in published advertising, specifically the papers, in excess of Online, Radio and Television merged?
It?s correct. So, available as one way, it?s really no surprise that there is a run back in the published concept.
But and here is the real shocker?local world-wide-web-dependent companies are truly checking out PRINT Marketing in promoting themselves! Not AdWords, not Web optimization, not e-mails, but print out advertising. Which is a incredible turn of occasions and contradicts virtually any declare and projection by marketers across the globe.
So it?s only natural that I?m a huge fan of baby showers.
Any excuse to get together with a group of ladies to coo over booties and stuff my face with cream puffs, I?m all in.
So when Lisa and Marla invited me to be a part of a virtual baby shower for Josh and Maria of Two Peas and Their Pod, of course I said yes.
Maria and Josh are expecting their first baby (a boy!) any day now. I couldn?t be more thrilled for them as they are both going to make exceptional parents. Having two boys of my own, I have a definite soft spot for little rascals. My oldest son thinks Josh is so much fun he thinks of him as his peer. It?s too cute, my little guy occasionally asks if we can set up a play date with Josh.
Thinking about this post, I couldn?t help but reminisce about my own baby shower and remembering what it was like those first few months home with my son. Every emotion imaginable made an appearance, sometimes all in the same day:) It was beautiful, scary, tiring, exhilarating, delicious, overwhelming, and amazing.
Like most women, I listened to all the advice that my mom, friends with kids, and the latest books had to offer and I tried to be the best mom that I could be. And you know where that got me? Nowhere. It left me frustrated, doubting my abilities, and kind of lost.
It wasn?t until I started listening with my heart, slowing down, and seeing each moment for what it was, that I started relishing in my new role. When I made decisions that felt right to me, contrary to what others thought, I started to come into my own and I learned to trust my self. My friend, Becca, said it perfectly, ?When I bring my expectations and preconceived ideas to mamahood, I get a serious smackdown.? So I learned (am still learning), to be in the moment with my kids. When I let go of the way I think things should be, I can see and experience them for what they really are.
So Josh and Maria, my advice to you is simple. Stay in the moment. Listen to your hearts, love your baby, and love each other. Everything else will fall into place.
Soooo, on a lighter note, let?s get this party started! I?m bringing cookies! And if you know Maria, that is just a wee bit intimidating. She is the cookie queen after all.
I knew I wanted to make something light and fresh for the end of summer and since baby showers are a place to mingle and chat, (or sit at your computer and drool), I wanted something easy to eat but that was still elegant and delicious.
Have you ever baked with lavender? If used sparingly, it can be delicious. Not soapy at all and perfect paired with lemon in this not too sweet shortbread. The dough is sticky and needs to be chilled before baking. So it?s best to make the dough at least a few hours or the day before you plan on baking them.
