Sage
Sage is a killpen rescue who arrived, we believe, with Potomac Horse Fever. She was nursed back to health and is now bursting with it! About 12 years old, 14.2 hh. Since we thought she was in foal all summer, she was only lightly ridden. We suspect typical hack horse background, and would do best with a combination of a gentle but firm touch. Too much gentle and she runs the show and too much firm and she shuts down. She is a fierce mare warrior and I am so glad that her individual spirit and will to live survived. Love this girl Hope you will, too.
