Living without a kitchen has been hard, but the upside is that I have spent less time cooking and eaten better food. The average cost of a meal here is 20 RMB which is roughly 3-4 Australian dollars, so while it has been consistent, the actual cost has been significantly less. The rate that I earn when I do work is actually the same in real terms as what I earnt in Australia, so I feel like I?m still the lucky tourist who earnt their money back home and can spend freely abroad. Here are some of the foods that I?ve been trying out for size.

Drinks have also been fun, I?ve found a couple of really nice cafes ? actually, only two.?
