The 12th Annual Vintage Indian Wine and Food Festival takes over Military Park in Indianapolis downtown Saturday, June 4, 2011. This fabulous Indianapolis festival connects Hoosiers with the best of Indiana food and drink. Sample more than 200 award winning wines and enjoy delicacies from some of Indiana?s most revered culinary experts. Tickets to this Indianapolis event are $22 in advance and $25 at the gate. Designated drivers who are twenty one and up pay only $10. Indianapolis kids ages six to twenty cost $5.00. Children under 5 are admitted for FREE. Twenty five Indiana vineyards will be on hand pouring more than 200 different types of vino. Available through the adult sampler ticket only (with a valid ID), the first 10,000 participants receive an etched wine glass. Participating Indiana wineries include Buck Creek Vineyard, French Lick Winery, Chateau Thomas Winery, Easley Winery, Mallow Run Winery, Oliver Winery and more.
Pair your wines with the best of Indiana?s foods. Each vendor offers something different for Indianapolis people to enjoy. Participating Indianapolis restaurants include Bazbeaux Pizza, Cobb?s Cajun Cooking, Port-a-Pit Catering of Indy, Glodo?s Original Kettle Korn, Baskin Robbins, AlliCart Catering, Blue Lagoon Catering and more. Let your taste buds soar as you pair delicious reds, whites and rose with divine food.
