Norwegian LNG Cargo Heads to South Korea >> LNG World News

The 145,700m? Maran Gas Coronis, which had been expected to deliver a Norwegian LNG cargo to the UK?s Isle of Grain terminal on Thursday, has been diverted to South Korea.

The tanker is now expected to arrive at Inchon on 5 October.

The Maran Gas Coronis follows another five tankers that have carried Norwegian LNG east of Suez since the Snohvit liquefaction train returned from extended maintenance in late July. Japan, India and Taiwan have each taken a Norwegian cargo since then, while the Maran Gas Coronis will deliver South Korea?s second. The destination of another cargo ? aboard the 140,000m? Arctic Voyager ? is not yet clear, although the vessel is set to transit Suez southbound over the next few days.

The other three cargoes dispatched from Snohvit since maintenance ended have been delivered to France, Spain and Portugal.
