Google+ users are buzzing about Federer, mourning the passing of Neil Armstrong and debating the most recent Apple vs. Samsung ruling on Monday, August 27.?

World tennis number one Roger Federer takes on America's Donald Young later on Monday in the men's singles at the US Open, leading Google+ users to share clips of Federer's past victories and debate what the outcome of the match will be.

Google+ users are also mourning the passing of astronaut Neil Armstrong who made history as the first man to set foot on the moon. To mark the passing of Neil Armstrong, Google + users are sharing video clips of the historic moon walk and interviews given by the astronaut in his later life. Also causing a buzz Monday is the latest Apple vs. Samsung court ruling. The two companies are fighting various patent infringement law suits against each other around the world, however Apple gained the upper hand on Friday when a jury in California ruled that Samsung will have to pay Apple one billion US dollars in damages.

The ruling, while not a crippling financial blow to Samsung, could have a huge effect on other ongoing Samsung / Apple patent infringement cases and potentially alter the future of smartphone design as other manufacturers alter their devices to avoid any future legal conflicts.
