Articles 20VN | Golf Versus Tennis | golf | tennis | golf vs tennis

As someone who plays both tennis and golf, I would like to tell you my thoughts on what the better sport is. I am a fan of both sports, but it is time to get one on side or another.

When you play tennis, you get a great workout, and you definitely get a lot more exercise than if you play golf. With just a rack and balls, you can go play at numerous free courts or high schools around your area. Tennis lessons are not very expensive, and if you get group lessons, then you can get great prices on beginner lessons. You do get exercise when you are playing golf by walking around and picking up your golf ball. However, it just is not enough. When you see professional golf and tennis players, you can see the huge difference in their physiques. Also, if you want to get golf lessons, then be prepared to fork out at least fifty dollars per lesson. You will also have to pay the course fees when you want to play 9 holes. That can be a real bummer if you are living on a budget.

Also, as a tennis player you have the benefit of playing at night where lighted courts are available. When you play golf, you do not usually have the option of playing golf at night. Once the sun goes down, your golf game will also be over unless you just want to hit balls at a driving range. For these reasons, I would choose tennis if you have to choose between these two sports.
